Reimagining children’s clothes from a more innocent age and putting their own contemporary spin on them, Caramel excel at making clothes which are well-made, logo-free and uniquely appealing. Describing their aesthetic, designer Eva Karayiannis says, “Just because children’s clothes have the relaxed quality of a country house, there is no reason why they shouldn’t also feel up to date. Just because they have some of the formality of continental Europe, why shouldn’t they also have a little laid back Englishness?” This combination of tradition and modernity is exactly what makes Caramel’s clothes so perfect. I just wish they made them in grown-up sizes too!
